Ode to Spicy Honey
In a jar so golden, sweet and bright, Lives a sticky delight that brings pure delight. With a kick like a mule and a buzz like a bee, Spicy honey, oh how you enchant me! You start off so smooth, a sugary tease, Then BAM! Comes the heat, like a summer's breeze. A drizzle on toast, it’s a flavor parade, But be careful, my friend, it’s a spicy charade! On pancakes you dance, with a fiery flair, A sweet little whisper, then whoa! Beware! Your sweetness is charming, but don’t be misled, One drop too much, and I’m seeing red! In tea you’re a rebel, a daring delight, You spice up my sip, making mornings feel right. But one little sip and I’m gasping for air, “Is it honey or lava?” I’m caught in despair! So here’s to you, honey, with spice in your soul, A sweet little trouble that takes quite a toll. With laughter and tears, you make meals so funny, Oh, life’s just a thrill when you’re spicy honey!
